What's not to like about a restaurant that does something so simple, so well?
A great bit of steak with a delicious jacket spud, relaxed atmosphere and excellent service by a waiter who remembers you and makes you feel at home.
Another "just round the corner from the apartment" place, Bébé, Chouchou et moi is great food. It looks good, too.
As a final bonus, it's located next door to (and run by the same people as) the local Capoue, where you can get great ice cream.

LA FIN DE SIECLE
Avenue de l'Arme 3
1040 BRUSSELS (ETTERBEEK)
Tel.: 02.732.74.34 I recommend you book at least a day in advance.
BUT it is fantastic. Huge choice of salads and pasta and of course meat and wonderful deserts.
For wine we had a Montepulciano xxxx very nice.
Not to confound with the Fin de Siecle Avenue Louise. Once belonged to the same owners but then they split the places up and a year ago it was bought by someone else. Completely different menu.
Aglio et Olio

Very nice small place. Only limited choice as it changes every day and is on a blackboard.
Simple but really nice and their house wine is good too.
