When Paul told me last night that Google Maps now did satellite, I didn't realise he was talking about the high-resolution photos that are now available (low-res was available for a while now).
Not much coverage outside of the cities yet... goes west as far as somewhere near Dereham and north from Cambridge about as far as Ely, then you're back in blurryland. Oh well, should be useful for getting an idea of the landscape when travelling to an area it does cover.
Hi,
I am from the Anita Anand programme Radio 5 Live-I can see from your Blog that you travel the Norwich to London ONE route. We are doing a piece about the train line on tonight's programme as I understand the network has offered bacon sandwiches, coffe's and Danish patries as a sorry to passengers for the delays over teh past few weeks. Would you be interested in doing an interview with us on the journey, do you still travel on it? Are you one of the passengers that has been offered a bacon sandwich as compensation for all the delays? Please contact me at the above email address or by telephone 020 8624 9506- sinead.heekin@bbc.co.uk
