Hey, there's a wheel missing on that bike?! ;)

I started doing that after having my front wheel nicked 8 or 9 years ago. It sucks that I need to do that and have a locking nut on the saddle stem, but that's how seriously the Norfolk plod seem to take bike crime.
You got me. Yeah, I used to fastidiously run a cable through the wheels of my old Raleigh (may it rust in pieces), but the cable accidentally got thrown out by a friend with the remains of that bike and I never replaced it.
My budget for the last bike was 100, so by the time I'd bought the bike (40), paid delivery (10), bought lights (20) and a lock (15) and a cycle computer (15) I'd broken the bank.
I'm going to set the same budget this time, so as I already have the lights (they left those on) and the lock, I can spend money on a wire cable to go through the lock and wheels.
I should have a bit of cash spare, so if anyone knows where I can buy a large capacitor and a high voltage battery, I can put Defensive Plan B into effect too. Bwahahahahahah.
(Options involving compressed air and nails also welcome.)

If you go for either of those extra anti-theft devices, can you move somewhere I won't be paying towards your hospital bill after you walk out the pub and fail to unlock the bike? ;-)
