Day 1
Dear Diary,
Mail.app crashed on me again this morning. Since yesterday afternoon, that’s three times it has scrolled off this mortal coil and into oblivion. Sent a polite bug report to Apple, outlining in detail what happened:
“I scrolled. It crashed. Again.”

Am I allowed to laugh yet?
I have to say I don’t use mail.app for work stuff, only for personal, for which i find it functions perfectly well.. All my sorting is done serverside of course, and if you use mail.app’s rules, YMMV..
Thunderbird is for work email.
Either way, good luck with those subsidies…
I desperately want to move sorting server-side so I can switch clients with impunity. Sadly, Sieve (the logical, standard choice for filtering) does not play with postfix+dovecot.
Before you say it – I’m not interested in writing procmail rules
You want to get yourself a proper computer matey
Err, kinda sounds like you have an new email that the software does not like. Can you quarentine your newer email (perhaps a folder that you don’t access would be sufficeint) and see if the problem disappears?
I could isolate newer mail etc. etc., but you know what? If Mail.app dies because it can’t parse an email, I think I need a new mail client. Who knows what other bugs are in there?
